An idea for a large house or institutional structure, playing with Palladian elevations and implied three dimensional volumes. Heavily inspired by the architecture of Shope Reno Wharton, which an old firm of mine referenced for a number of custom houses. Photos in the collage from my own collection, sampled from gardens in Portland, Maine; Wellesley, Massachusetts; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
